Workshop Overview

This program will increase staff self-awareness and provide resources, such as safety inventories, to combat risks and hazards when working with potentially aggressive clients in independent work environments. Participants who complete this workshop will be equipped with practical safety and crisis intervention strategies that will maximize personal safety and reduce liabilities.

• Increase your self-awareness regarding survival intuition and becoming “fully present” in potentially unsafe situations
• Challenge participants to embark upon a self-mastery pathway towards maximizing their professional and personal clarity around interpersonal boundaries when working with clients
• Introduce and develop practical strategies and tools to minimize the risk and maximize your personal safety in potentially unsafe situations
• Increase your personal confidence and professional competence when working alone in potentially dangerous situations by identifying physical, psychological and emotional resources
